Old Plate

One of the six the original coal oil lamps still in use today. Al McNeal is the lamp lighter. He and his wife, Shirley, keep the wicks trimmed and the chimneys sparkling clean. Although the church does have electric lights today, the soft glow of the oil lamps is a constant reminder of the many departed saints who once worshiped here in by the light of these same old lamps.
